Advent: 25 Days to Christmas
This plan follows the traditional shape of Advent: readings move from Old Testament promise and prophecy through the Gospel birth narratives, ending on Christmas Day. Publish or begin it in late November so readers can start on December 1st.
How to follow this plan
- 1.Start December 1st; each day's reading takes under five minutes.
- 2.Reading with family, take turns reading a verse aloud rather than one person reading the whole passage.
- 3.Day 25 revisits the full birth narrative as a single reading for Christmas morning.
