Choosing a pace that lasts
A plan you finish beats a faster one you abandon. Three to four chapters a day takes the whole Bible in about a year; one chapter a day takes the New Testament in eight and a half months. How many chapters a day to read the Bible in a year?
The Bible has 1,189 chapters, so a year takes a little over 3 chapters a day (1,189 ÷ 365 ≈ 3.3). Set 'Finish in 365 days' above and the generator spreads them evenly.
How long does it take to read the New Testament?
The New Testament has 260 chapters. At one chapter a day that is about 8½ months; at three a day, under three months. Most chapters take three to five minutes to read.
Can I print the plan or use it offline?
