A Prayer for Anxiety
For the moment when a worry will not settle on its own.
God, I am carrying something I cannot put down on my own.
I don't need you to explain it. I need you to be here in it.
Take what I hand you now, even if I pick it back up in an hour.
Give me one steady breath, and then the next one.
Amen.
